Panama registered a total of 583 new cases of
COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the number of infections to 393,727, as reported by the Ministry of Health (
Minsa ).
According to the epidemiological report for this Sunday, June 20, 2021, 6 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, 1 of the previous date is updated, which brings deaths to 6,475 from
coronavirus in the country. The case fatality of the virus is 1.6%.
The
Minsa also reports 376,761 recovered patients.

Active patients total 10,491, 9,925 people are reported in home isolation, of which 9,527 are at home and 398 in hotels. There are 566 hospitalized and 482 of them are in the ward and 84 are in the ICU.
