To date, there are a total of 439,602 recovered patients and 454,878 accumulated cases of COVID-19 in Panama.
After reporting a total of 548 new cases of
COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Panama raised its number of infections to 454,878, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, 8 new deaths were reported, totaling 7,031 deaths from this virus in the country. The fatality rate remains at 1.5%.
10,247 new tests were carried out to detect
COVID-19, for a percentage of positivity of 5.3%.
There are a total of 439,602 recovered and 8,245 active cases.
Of the total active cases, there are 7,851 people are in isolation, of which 7,619 are at home and 232 in hotels; while 394 patients are hospitalized, of them 288 in ward and 106 in intensive care.

COVID-19, the use of masks continues to be essential as they represent protection above 80%, says
