With 540 new cases of COVID-19, Panama raises 343,281 infections of the virus at the national level, as the Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced.
The epidemiological report of this March 4, 2021, reveals that in the last 24 hours about 10 new deaths have been registered and 1 of previous dates is updated, increasing deaths from
coronavirus to 5,895. The lethality of the virus is 1.7%.
He adds that to date 8,505 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 6.3% and 329,709 patients recovered from
COVID-19 have been reported in the country.
Active cases total 7,677. In home isolation, 6,817 people are reported, of which 6,540 are at home and 277 in hotels.
In addition, there are 860 hospitalized, of them 709 are in the ward and 151 are in intensive care units.
