Minsa actualiza situación del covid-19 en Panamá

Panama reports 485 new COVID-19 cases and 6 deaths in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) of Panama reported 485 new cases of covid-19 and 6 deaths from this disease in the last 24 hours.
With these figures, the total accumulated cases and 6,025 deaths with one (1) update of a previous date rises to 349,505.

The case fatality rate is at 1.7%.

8,946 tests to detect coronavirus were applied in the last hours. The positivity rate is 5.5%.

According to the epidemiological report of the Minsa, to date there are 5,299 active cases in the country and 338,181 recovered patients are reported.

There are 4,566 patients in home isolation, 4,365 of them in their residences and 201 in hospital hotels.

While 733 patients are hospitalized, of which 642 are in ward and 91 in intensive care units.
