With a total of 470 new cases of Covid-19, Panama raised its total number of infections to 340,915, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health, 28 February.
In addition, 13 new deaths were reported, and 1 death from previous dates was updated, totaling 5,845 deaths due to this virus in the country.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.7%.
5,109 new tests were carried out to detect
coronavirus, for a positivity percentage of 9.1%.
There are a total of 326,213 recovered patients and 8,857 active cases.
Of the total active cases, there are 7,672 people are in isolation, of which 7,335 are at home and 337 in hotels; while 1,185 patients are hospitalized, of them 1,015 in ward and 170 in intensive care.
