Panama reports 444 new COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths in 24 hours

In the last hours, 5,481 tests were applied to detect covid-19, reported the Ministry of Health of Panama through its epidemiological report.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) of Panama notified 444 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections accumulated in the country to 448,268.

Meanwhile, 11 deaths were reported due to this disease for a total of 6,962 deaths. The fatality is at 1.6%.

5,481 tests were applied to detect covid-19 in the last hours. The positivity is at 8.1%.

To date, Panama has 10,397 active cases and 430,909 recovered patients, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.

Of the total of infected patients 9,937 are isolated, of them 9,635 at home and 302 in hospital hotels.

While 460 patients are hospitalized, of which 344 are in ward and 116 in intensive care units.
