Panama reports 371 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths in 24 hours

To date, some 442,093 recovered people are reported in Panama, while 7,890 cases remain active.
The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) reported that for this Monday, August 30, 371 new coronavirus infections were registered, bringing the accumulated number of cases to 457,037.

Also for today there are a total of 7,054 deaths due to COVID -19 in the country, with 7 new deaths, and 1 death from previous dates is updated.

The fatality rate remains at 1.5%.

To date, some 442,093 recovered people are reported in Panama, while 7,890 cases remain active.

Of this total of active cases, 7,261 remain in isolation at home and 239 are in hospital hotels.

On the other hand, 295 patients are hospitalized in ward and 95 patients are in intensive care units.

The Minsa adds that in the last 24 hours a total of 5,033 new tests have been carried out to detect COVID-19 and the positivity is 7.3%.
