The Minsa also reports that 3,903 active cases of COVID-19 remain in Panama and another 352,255 patients have recovered.
The epidemiological report, 23 April 2021, of the Ministry of Health of Panama (
Minsa) reported that the country in the last hours presented some 366 new cases of
COVID-19, which brings the number of infections to 362,358.
The report also indicates that in the last hours there have been 2 new deaths, raising the number of deaths in the country to 6,200.
Regarding those recovered, it is anticipated that so far there are 352,255 people who have overcome
COVID-19 and another 3,903 remain as active cases.
From this figure it is broken down that some 3,304 are confined to their homes and another 202 are kept in hospital hotels.
Regarding those hospitalized in wards, the figure is reflected in 330 and another 67 patients are confined in intensive care units.
In the last hours, the health authorities have applied some 9,036 new tests which yielded a positivity of 4%.
