The number of accumulated cases of coronavirus in Panama rose to 355,850 for this Friday, April 2, after registering a total of 351 new infections.
The number of deaths due to
COVID-19 increased to 6,126, after accounting for 7 new deaths.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.7% in the country.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa ) reported that today 344,701 recovered patients are registered.
In the country there are a total of 5,023 cases that remain active, of which 4,302 are in home isolation and 431 are in hospital hotels.
In addition, 431 hospitalized patients are counted in the ward, while 65 are kept in intensive care units.
