Panama reports 348 new COVID-19 cases and one deaths in 24 hours

In Panama there are a total of 6,370 deaths due to COVID-19, and the fatality rate is 1.7%.
For this Sunday, May 30, in Panama there are 348 new coronavirus infections, which brings the accumulated number of cases to 377,776 .

In addition, for today, the country has a total of 6,370 deaths due to COVID-19, with one new death and a case fatality rate of 1.7%.

The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) reported that 360 patients are hospitalized in ward and 51 patients are in intensive care units.

On the other hand, a total of 6,281 cases are kept as active, of which 5,526 remain in isolation at home and 344 are in hospital hotels.

The Minsa adds that in the last 24 hours a total of 6,820 new tests have been carried out to detect COVID-19, and the positivity rate in the country is currently 5.1%.

The epidemiological report reflects that to date some 365,125 recovered people are reported.
