Panama reports 341 new cases of COVID-19 and 1 death in 24 hours

The number of hospitalized is 294, of which 227 are in the ward and 67 in intensive care.
This Tuesday, September 21, 341 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Panama, for a total of 464,781 infections, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

In the last 24 hours, 1 death was registered, and 1 death from previous dates was reported, which raised the total number of deaths to 7,178, this indicates that the lethality percentage of this virus remains at 1.5%.

On the other hand, 8,427 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is 4%.

The number of active cases is 3,890, of which there are 3,596 in home isolation; 3,437 at home and 159 in hotels.
