Panama reports 329 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

Panama reported 329 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 359,121, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa), 13 April.
Meanwhile, 4 new deaths were registered for a total of 6,173 deaths due to this disease in Panama. The case fatality rate is 1.7%.

The Minsa indicated that 2 deaths from previous dates were updated.

9,166 tests were applied to detect covid-19 in the last hours. In total, 2,252,943 tests have been applied in the country.

The positivity is 3.5%.

According to the epidemiological report of the Minsa, there are to date 3,995 active covid-19 cases and 348,953 recovered patients.

In isolation there are 3,526 patients, of them 3,328 are in their residences and 198 in hospital hotels.

While 469 patients are hospitalized, of which 407 are in ward and 62 in intensive care units.
