Panama reports 324 new cases of COVID-19 and 9 deaths in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours there were 9 deaths, for a cumulative total of 7,192 deaths. The fatality figure for the virus is 1.5%.
According to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health ( Minsa ), this Thursday, September 23, 324 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, these bring the total number to 465,471 infections.

In addition, in the last 24 hours there were 9 deaths, for a cumulative total of 7,192 deaths. The fatality figure for the virus is 1.5%. A death of an earlier date was reported.

In the last hours 8,413 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is 3.8%.

The number of active cases is 3,558, of which 3,261 are in home isolation; 3,118 at home and 143 in hotels.

The number of hospitalized is 297, of which 236 are in ward and 61 in intensive care.
