Panama reports 316 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths in 24 hours

In Panama, about 4,461 cases remain active and about 451,466 people recovered from COVID-19 are reported.
The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) reported that for this Wednesday, September 15, 316 new coronavirus infections were registered , bringing the accumulated number of cases to 463,086.

Also today there are a total of 7,159 deaths due to COVID-19 in the country, with 7 new deaths and a fatality rate that remains at 1.5%.

On the other hand, in Panama about 4,461 cases remain active, of which 4,008 remain in isolation at home and 160 are in hospital hotels.

While 215 patients are hospitalized in ward and 78 patients are in intensive care units.

The Minsa adds that in the last 24 hours a total of 8,191 new tests have been carried out to detect COVID-19.

To date, some 451,466 people have been recovered from COVID-19 in Panama.
