Panama reports 314 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama reported 314 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours , bringing the total number of infections in the country to 359,830.
While 4 new deaths were reported due to this disease, in addition 2 deaths from previous dates were updated, for a total of 6,183 deaths.

The case fatality rate is 1.7%.

10,840 new tests were applied to detect covid-19. The positivity is at 2.8%.

So far there are 3,929 active cases and 349,718 patients have been recovered in Panama, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.

Of the total active cases, indicated the Minsa, 3,483 patients are isolated, of them 3,279 in their residences and 204 in hospital hotels.

While 446 patients remain hospitalized, of which 389 are in ward and 57 in intensive care.

The "importance" of the case fatality rate (CFR)
Even if no new deaths and no new infected people are counted in the next 1000 years - the CFR will not change. It remains at 1.7% and the people will continue to be concerned. Funny but true
