Panama reports 271 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours

To date, 3,925 active covid-19 cases and 352,833 recovered patients have been reported in Panama, according to the epidemiological report from the Minsa.
In the last 24 hours, Panama registered 271 new cases of covid-19, raising the total number of accumulated infections to 362,967, according to the epidemiological report released by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), 25 April 2021.

Meanwhile, informed the Minsa, there were 2 new deaths due to this disease, bringing the total number of deaths in Panama to 6,209. The case fatality rate is 1.7%.

A total of 5,634 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 4.8%.

To date, 3,925 active covid-19 cases and 352,833 recovered patients have been reported, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.

Of the total number of infected patients, 3,539 are isolated, 3,339 of them in their residences and 200 in hospital hotels.

While 386 patients are hospitalized, of which 323 are in ward and 63 in intensive care.
