Panama reports 262 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

The number of hospitalized is 285, of which 231 are in the ward and 54 in intensive care.
According to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), this Wednesday, September 29, 262 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Panama, for a cumulative total of 466,851 infections.

In the last 24 hours, 4 deaths were registered, to raise the total number of deaths to 7,223, this indicates that the lethality of this virus remains at 1.5%.

On the other hand, 7,366 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is 3.5%.

The number of active cases is 3,314, of which there are 3,029 in home isolation; 2,907 at home and 122 in hotels.
