Panama reports 227 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

The number of hospitalized is 251, of which 197 are in ward and 54 in intensive care.
This Saturday, October 2, 227 new cases of COVID -19 were registered in Panama , for a cumulative total of 467,565 infections, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health ( Minsa ).

In the last 24 hours, 4 deaths were registered, to raise the total number of deaths to 7,236, the lethality of this virus remains at 1.5%. In addition, 2 deaths of previous dates were registered.

On the other hand, 7,280 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is at 3.1%. The number of active cases is 3,137; of those there are 2,886 in home isolation; 2,771 at home and 115 in hotels.
