After reporting a total of 227 new cases of
COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Panama raised its number of infections to 469,796, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, 1 new death was reported, totaling 7,284 deaths from this virus in the country. The fatality rate remains at 1.5%.
8,393 new tests were carried out to detect
COVID-19, for a percentage of positivity of 2.7%.

Of the total active cases, 2,228 people are in isolation, of which 2,120 are at home and 108 in hotels; while 212 patients are hospitalized, of them 170 in the ward and 42 in intensive care.
