Panama reports 223 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

The Minsa points out that in the last hours in Panama 4,029 new tests were carried out to detect COVID-19 and the positivity rate is 5.5%.
With a total of 4 new deaths, Panama reached for this Monday, September 13, the accumulated figure of 7,141 deaths due to COVID-19 , maintaining a fatality rate of 1.5%.

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that in addition, for today 223 new infections of coronavirus are reported, with which the total number of cases in the country rises to 462,447.

On the other hand, there are a total of 4,865 cases that remain active, of which 192 are in hospital hotels and 4,372 remain in isolation at home.

Regarding hospitalizations, a total of 213 patients currently remain in the ward, while 88 are in intensive care units.

The Minsa points out that in the last hours in Panama 4,029 new tests have been carried out to detect COVID -19 and the positivity rate is 5.5%.

The epidemiological report details that 450,441 recovered people have been reported to date.
