Panama reports 220 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

In total, Panama accumulates 468,545 cases of covid-19 and 7,259 deaths due to this disease, indicates the epidemiological report of the Minsa.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) of Panama reported 220 new cases of covid-19, raising the total number of infections registered in the country to 468,545.

The Minsa also reported 4 new deaths due to this disease, for a total of 7,259 deaths. The fatality is at 1.5%.

7,386 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 2.9%.

To date, Panama has 2,781 active cases of covid-19 and 458,505 recovered patients, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.

Of the total of infected patients, 2,560 are isolated, of them 2,463 at home and 97 in hospital hotels.

While 221 patients are hospitalized, of which 179 are in the ward and 42 in intensive care units.
