Panama reports 195 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death in 24 hours

Panama currently has 2,717 active cases and 458,763 recovered patients, informed the Minsa.
In the last 24 hours, Panama registered 195 new cases of covid-19 and 1 death due to this disease, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa) through its epidemiological report on October 8.

In total, Panama accumulates 468,740 covid-19 infections and 7,260 deaths. The fatality is at 1.5%.

7,244 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 2.6%.

Panama currently has 2,717 active cases and 458,763 recovered patients, said the Minsa.

Of the total number of infected patients, 2,495 remain isolated, 2,390 of them are at home and 105 in hospital hotels.

On the other hand, 222 patients are hospitalized, of which 179 are in the ward and 43 are in intensive care units.
