Panama reports 181 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that Panama registered 181 new cases of COVID-19, raising the number of infections of the virus in the country to 358,792.
According to the epidemiological report for this Monday, April 12, 2021, in the last 24 hours there have been 4 new deaths, increasing deaths from coronavirus to 6,167.

The case fatality of the virus is 1.7%.

To date, 4,251 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 4.2% and 348,554 recovered patients from COVID-19 have been reported in the country.

Active cases total 4,071. In home isolation, 3,612 people are reported, of which 3,402 are at home and 210 in hotels.

While 459 patients are hospitalized and of them 396 are in the ward and 63 remain in the intensive care units (ICU).
