Panama reports 119 new COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths in 24 hours

The Ministry of Panama indicates that the country maintains 2,605 active cases and 7,267 accumulated deaths due to COVID-19.
The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health of Panama ( Minsa ) reported this Sunday, October 10, that some 119 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the country, raising the accumulated infections to 469,082.

In addition, the Minsa indicates that in the last 24 hours 3 new deaths were reported, which increased deaths from coronavirus to 7,267. The virus maintains a lethality of 1.5% in the country.

So far, 459,210 recovered cases have been reported and there are 2,605 active cases in the country.

From this last figure, it is broken down that 2,283 people are confined to their homes and 106 have been accommodated in hospital hotels.

Regarding patients hospitalized in wards, it was detailed that there are 174 and another 42 are confined in intensive care units, after having contracted the virus.

In the last hours the authorities applied some 4,103 new tests, which yielded a positivity of 2.9%.
