Panama reports 108 new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours

The number of hospitalized is 214, of which 170 are in the ward and 44 in intensive care.
This Monday, October 11, 108 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Panama , for a cumulative total of 469,190 infections, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

On the other hand, 3,172 tests were applied and the percentage of positivity is 3.4%.

The number of active cases is 2,572, of which there are 2,358 in home isolation; 2,253 at home and 105 in hotels.

In the last 24 hours, 4 deaths were registered, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,271; this indicates that the lethality of this virus remains at 1.5%.
