The Minsa indicates that to date 13,722 tests have been applied and 393,377 patients recovered from COVID-19 have been reported in Panama.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa ) reported 9 July 2021 that Panama registered 1,160 new cases of
COVID-19 , raising the number of infections of the virus in the country to 413,626.
According to the epidemiological report for this Friday, July 9, 2021, in the last 24 hours there have been 7 new deaths and 3 deaths from previous dates have been updated, increasing deaths from
coronavirus to 6,614. The lethality of the virus is 1.6%.
To date, 13,722 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 8.4% and 393,377 patients recovered from
COVID-19 have been reported in the country.
Active cases total 13,635. In home isolation, 12,927 people are reported, of which 12,581 are at home and 346 in hospital hotels.
While 708 patients are hospitalized and 584 of them are in the ward and 124 remain in intensive care units (ICU).
