Panama reports 1,093 new COVID-19 cases and 5 deaths in 24 hours

In total, Panama accumulates 398,820 cases of covid-19 and 6,505 deaths due to this disease, reported the Minsa.
The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama in their report 25 June 2021, notified 1,093 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections in the country to 398,820.

Meanwhile, there were 5 new deaths due to this disease, for a total of 6,505 deaths. The case fatality rate is 1.6%.

12,704 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. Positivity is 8.6%.

According to the epidemiological report of the Minsa, active cases total 11,653 and there are 380,662 recovered patients.

There are 11,045 patients in isolation, of which 10,680 are at home and 365 in hospital hotels.

While 608 patients are hospitalized, of which 513 are in ward and 95 in intensive care units.
