La búsqueda de casos activos de la COVID-19 en varios puntos de Panamá sigue su curso a través de las jornadas de hisopados en puntos fijos con personal del Minsa y la CSS.

Panama reports 1,089 new COVID-19 cases and 6 deaths in 24 hours

According to the epidemiological report of the Minsa, 20 July 2021, Panama accumulates a total of 424,455 COVID-19 infections and 6,716 deaths.
In the last 24 hours, Panama registered a total of 1,089 new cases of COVID-19 , raising the number of infections to 424,455, as reported by the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

According to the epidemiological report for this Tuesday, July 20, 2021, there have been six (6) deaths, in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 6,716 from coronavirus in the country. The lethality of the virus is 1.6%.

To date, 13,496 tests have been applied to detect covid-19. The positivity is at 8%.

404,606 recovered patients are also reported.

Active patients total 13,133, 12,360 people are reported in home isolation, of which 12,000 are at home and 360 in hotels.

While the hospitalized number 773 and of them 638 are in the ward and 135 in the ICU.
