The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that Panama registered 445 new cases of COVID-19, raising the number of infections of the virus in the country to 350,665.
According to the epidemiological report for this Saturday, March 20, in the last 24 hours about 7 new deaths have been registered, increasing deaths from
coronavirus to 6,042.
The case fatality rate of the virus is 1.7%.
To date, 8,829 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 5%. 339,239 recovered patients from
COVID-19 have also been reported in the country.
Active cases total 5,384. In home isolation, 4,664 people are reported, of which 4,448 are at home and 216 in hotels.
In addition, there are 720 hospitalized and of them 622 are in the ward and 98 remain in the intensive care units.
