Panama registers 420 new cases of covid-19 and 8 deaths in 24 hours

In total, Panama accumulates 462,010 cases of covid-19 and 7,131 deaths, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.
The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama reported 420 new cases of covid-19 and 8 deaths from this disease in the last 24 hours.

A death from a previous date was updated.

With these new figures reported, the total accumulated infections in the country rises to 462,010 and the number of deaths to 7,131. The fatality is at 1.5%.

7,252 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 5.7%.

To date, Panama has 4,685 active cases and 450,194 recovered patients, according to the epidemiological report released by the Minsa.

Of the total number of infected patients, 4,370 are isolated, of them 4,168 at home and 202 in hospital hotels.

While 315 patients are hospitalized, of which 233 are in the ward and 82 in intensive care units.
