After reporting a total of 320 new cases of
COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Panama raised its number of infections to 365,619, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
Meanwhile, 4 new deaths were reported, totaling 6,248 deaths from this virus in the country.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.7%.
9,224 new tests were carried out to detect
COVID-19, for a percentage of positivity of 3.4%.
According to the
Minsa, there are a total of 355,499 recovered patients and 3,872 active cases.
Of the total active cases, 3,542 people are in isolation, of which 3,367 are at home and 175 in hotels; while 330 patients are hospitalized, of them 268 in ward and 62 in intensive care.
