The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) of Monday, March 15, revealed that after registering some 9 new deaths from COVID-19 and updating 2 deaths from previous dates, the total number of deaths in the country from this virus increased at 6.005.
The total number of infections rose to 348,155, after 236 new cases of
coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours.
The number of recovered patients amounted to 336,277; while active cases are currently at 5,873.
Out of the current active cases 4,882 people are confined to their homes and another 210 are housed in hospital hotels.
In addition, 683 patients are confined in hospital wards and 98 are kept in intensive care units.
In the last 24 hours, 3,574 new tests were carried out, of which 6.6% were positive.
