The Minsa reports 15 new deaths, totaling 6,823 deaths due to COVID-19 in Panama.
Panama registered a total of 1,195 new cases of
COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the number of infections to 435,655, as reported by the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
According to the epidemiological report for this Saturday, July 31, 15 new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 6,823 from
coronavirus in the country. The lethality of the virus is 1.6%.
The
Minsa also reports 416,263 recovered patients.
To date, 13,106 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 1.6%.
Active cases total 12,569, 11,996 people are reported in home isolation, of which 11,652 are at home and 344 in hotels.
While there are 573 of those hospitalized and 468 of them are in the ward and 105 are in the ICU.
