Panama registers 1,138 new COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths in 24 hours

To date, 13,089 active cases and 408,155 recovered patients have been counted, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa, 23 July 2021.
The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama notified 1,138 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 427,987.

Meanwhile, 11 deaths were notified, and 2 deaths from previous dates are updated for a total of 6,743 deaths due to this disease in the country. The fatality is 1.6%.

14,218 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. The positivity is at 8%.

To date, 13,089 active cases and 408,155 recovered patients have been counted, according to the epidemiological report of the Minsa.

Of the total number of infected patients, 12,311 are isolated, of them 11,967 at home and 344 in hospital hotels.

While 778 patients are hospitalized, of which 654 are in the ward and 124 in intensive care units.
