Panama reach 106,000 cases of COVID-19 and reports 2,257 deaths
Panama reports 2,257 deaths from COVID-19, and with 602 new cases, the country registers 106,203 infections of the virus at the national level, as reported by the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
According to the epidemiological report of this Sunday, September 20, 81,365 clinically recovered patients are reported.
To date, 4,966 tests have been applied, for a percentage of positivity of 12.1% and 10 new deaths have been registered, for a fatality of 2.1%.
Active patients total 22,581; 21,780 people are reported in home isolation, of which 21,377 are at home and 403 in hotels. There are 801 hospitalized and 668 of them are in the ward and 133 are in the ICU.
