Panama National Migration Services announces extension of its opening hours
The National Migration Service of Panama informed that its headquarters will maintain a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The National Migration Service of Panama (SNM) announced this afternoon that from next Monday, August 16, the entity's headquarters will maintain an extended schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
As explained by the entity, the extended hours are given in order to avoid crowds and reinforce compliance with biosafety measures, established as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"With this new schedule, the request of many of our users, who asked for the opportunity to attend the institution, after completing their work obligations, is also addressed," adds the Migration statement.
They also add that the Immigration Regularization department, located on the second floor of the SNM headquarters, is exempt from the extension of the hours.
In another aspect, the entity reiterates that its Immigration Registration department since last August 2 already serves the public in extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
