In Panama, 5,563,762 vaccines have been applied against Covid-19 according to the PAI report.
The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health of Panama (
Minsa) reported that according to the statistics sent this Sunday by the Expanded Program of Immunization ( PAI ) 74.3% of the population contemplated in the vaccination scheme, have already completed the immunization against
COVID-19 with the two doses.
The
Minsa highlights that in Panama 5,563,762
vaccines have been applied against
COVID-19 according to the PAI report. Of this total, 4,814,454 doses of
Pfizer vaccine and 749,308 of
AstraZeneca have been placed.
Minsa adds that 2,992,863 correspond to first doses; 2,568,080 are second doses and 2,819 are third doses.
This Sunday the days of vaccination by sweeping the population from the age of 12 continued: 265
vaccines were placed in the Santiago Mall in Veraguas and 46 doses were applied in Herrera.
