Panama has applied over 250,000 doses of vaccine against COVID-19

A total of 253,800 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been applied nationwide since last January 20, according to the Ministry of Health of Panama.

Of that total, about 80,000 doses have been applied in the Metropolitan Region, 62 thousand in San Miguelito, and 25,000 in West Panama.

Yamileth López, deputy director of the Metropolitan Region, reported that they will make a "stop for 15 days" in the circular vaccination process to apply the second dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 , to non-prioritized medical personnel, people with disabilities and bedridden, which are pending of phase 1 A and 1 B.
