Some 101,600 doses of vaccine against COVID-19 were applied as of 11:00 am this Sunday, February 28.
According to the
Vaccine Meter, 52% of the vaccinations have been given to women, and 48% to men.
More than 35,000
vaccines have been placed in the province of Panama, over 17,000 in West Panama; and more than 11,000 in Chiriquí, followed by Veraguas, Herrera, Los Santos and Colón.
The district of Panama has more than 26,600 vaccinated, La Chorrera 8,000, while Arraiján and San Miguelito more than 7,000 each.
The health authorities have reiterated that the
vaccine will not prevent contagion, but rather it will prevent a seriousness of the disease, so we must not forget the biosecurity measures.
