Panama adds 830 new cases of COVID-19 and reaches 94,914 infections
Panama adds 830 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, September 3, and raises the total number of infections in the country to 94,914 as indicated by the Ministry of Health.
While with 16 new deaths, the number of deaths from this virus in the country is 2,046, which represents a case fatality rate of 2.2%.
In addition, there are a total of 68,198 clinically recovered patients.
According to the epidemiological report, of the active patients 22,866 are in home isolation (400 confined in hotels), while another 1,404 are hospitalized (1,237 in ward and 167 in intensive care).
According to the age group, patients between 20 and 59 years of age continue to be the most affected in terms of contagion, however, most deaths correspond to those over 60 years of age.
