With a total of 722 new cases of COVID-19, Panama raises its number of infections to 105,601 as indicated by the Ministry of Health.
In addition, the virus has claimed the lives of 18 people in the last 24 hours, leaving 2,247 the number of deaths from
coronavirus in the country, which represents a fatality rate of 2.1%.
According to the epidemiological report, of the active patients 21,886 are in home isolation and 404 are confined in hotels; while another 874 are hospitalized (730 in ward and 144 in intensive care).
To date, Panama reports a total of 80,190 clinically recovered patients.

Minsa indicated that in the last hours 5,788 tests were carried out, for a positivity percentage of 12.5%.
