The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) reported this Monday, July 27, that 28 new deaths from COVID-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 1,322.
Health authorities reported that the country records 1,146 new cases of
coronavirus in the country, making an accumulated 61,442 infections nationwide. From Sunday to the cut of 5:00 pm on Monday, 3,465 tests were applied, 33% tested positive.
There are currently 35,086 recovered; 25,034 active cases and the
COVID-19 case fatality rate is 2.15%.
In home isolation there are 23,624, of which 22,898 are at home and some 726 are kept in hospital hotels. There are 1,410 hospitalized patients, 1,255 of them in wards and 155 are in intensive care units.
