Over the weekend 1500 arrested for breaking quarantine rules

The National Police reported that over a thousand people were detained over the weekend for failing to comply with the government's quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the daily report that the Police gives, in the different operations that were carried out in the country, a total of 1,545 people were arrested for not complying with the rules that regulate quarantine; 1,471 adults and 74 minors.

Saturdays and Sundays are maintained with the absolute total quarantine measure, which is why only the circulation of those people who due to the nature of their work have to do so, carrying their respective safe-conduct is allowed.

Also, the police authorities reported that 144 vehicles were also towed in the last hours for not complying with traffic restrictions.
