Over 252,000 doses of Pfizer have been applied in three days of COVID-19 vaccination sweep

Panama exceeds 2.1 million vaccines applied by pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and AstraZeneca, according to Minister Counselor Eyra Ruiz
The Minister Councelor of Health, Eyra Ruiz announced that Panama has immunized, in the different districts where the vaccination sweeps have been applied for three days, more than 252 thousand doses with the vaccine against COVID-19 developed by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.

"Panama has broken the historical record of 2.1 million vaccines we carry so far between Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Yesterday we exceeded 93 thousand doses in 12 hours, not to say one day ... we have around 252 thousand doses applied in these three days," said Minister Ruiz.

Ruiz said that Panamanians continue to arrive at the vaccination centers motivated to get the Pfizer vaccine that they have extended in its application to those over 16 years of age, through a massive vaccination extended to several circuits.
