Nurses continue working without adequate supplies

The National Association of Nurses of Panama (ANEP) announced on Sunday, September 6, that they are still working without adequate supplies in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ana Reyes, president of ANEP, said that the improvements that they have requested from the vice president of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo come in tiny portions.

On August 24, the union held pickets on the premises of the Hospital Complex due to the lack of responses to multiple complaints about unsuitable working conditions.

The ANEP has already reported the death of about four nurses in the country due to COVID-19.
