From this Wednesday, June 23, Executive Decree 783 begins to take effect , which eliminates the three-day quarantine for Panamanian travelers and residents who enter Panama after having stayed or transited through the United Kingdom, Republic of South Africa, India or South America, during the last 15 days.
The measure for Panamanian travelers and residents was announced by the Ministry of Health on June 15.
This measure will be effective for those who have a COVID-19 molecular test, with a negative result and 48 hours of validity, generated by a certified laboratory or carried out when entering the Tocumen International Airport.
In addition, these people must present a card or digital certification of the complete immunization scheme with vaccines endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The measure applies to those who meet the aforementioned requirements, regardless of whether they enter the country by air, land or sea.
To obtain the digital vaccination certificate, the traveler must access Panama Digital.
