Panamanian families traveled this Saturday, October 24, to the different beaches of the country, while the health authorities and the Joint Task Force (FTC) began the operation very early to guarantee compliance with the established biosecurity measures.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa) details that in the 27 points where the "Ocean 2020" operation maintains coverage, compliance with the norms and preventive measures against the
coronavirus was verified .
It informs that during the first day of the operation, no positive case of
COVID-19 has been detected on the beaches and rivers, however, it was possible to detect in West Panama, several drivers who failed to comply with the provisions announced by the National Government.
On the other hand, the director of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc),
Carlos Rumbo, announced that this Saturday there was a concurrence of 471 visitors to the beaches nationwide.

Minsa adds that for this Sunday, October 25, the
Minsa, together with the FTC and the entire inter-institutional team, will continue very early with the operations at the checkpoints and the verification of the more than 20 beaches and rivers that are part of the plan. established in "Operation Ocean 2020".
