Nine townships, between the provinces of Panama and Panama Oeste, registered at least 30 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
In the report presented yesterday by the Health authorities, the townships with the most cases were Vista Alegre (55), Barrio Balboa (41), Arraiján (38) and Barrio Colón (37), all from the province of Panamá Oeste.
In addition, the statistics include Juan Díaz (35), Chilibre (33), San Francisco (33), Tocumen (31) and Alcalde Díaz (30), from the province of Panama.
On the other hand, yesterday it was reported that in the epidemiological week, which includes records from Saturday to Sunday, it is highlighted that there was an increase of more than a thousand cases from week 46 to week 47; it went from 6,803 positives to 8,268.
Meanwhile, in terms of general data on deaths, the statistics show that the highest number of deaths is in the population over 60 years of age with a total of 2,217, of the 2,896 accumulated in the country.

coronavirus, after 9,620 tests were applied to detect the virus in the last hours.
