New curfew and dry law decreed for Panama Oeste

Health Minister Luis Francisco Sucre said tonight at a press conference before the misbehavior that have certain inhabitants of the province of Panama Oeste decreed from Friday 4 December a new curfew and alcohol prohibition daily for this sector of the country.
Today we have to report that the province of Panama Oeste after having been evaluating its increase in RT and increases in cases of COVID-19 and having met with its local authorities, Governor, mayors and representatives of the most affected townships, we have made the decision ... to implement a curfew that will run from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am every day, and also dry law will be implemented, Sucre said.

The minister explained that the prohibition on the sale of liquor will be after 7:00 pm until 5:00 am every day.

Sucre indicated that the measures will be imposed on Friday, December 4, and added that to guarantee free mobilization, checkpoints will be maintained along the Inter-American highway and they should not intervene with any kind of difficulty from people who move from the capital to the interior of the country, however reiterated that mobility within the communities will be restricted in the hours of curfew in Panama West.

The Health Minister asked the population to comply with biosafety regulations and comply with the family bubble.
