This Tuesday, October 5, a new batch of the
vaccine against
covid-19 from the American pharmaceutical company
Pfizer with 97,110 doses of the preparation arrived in Panama.

covid-19 at the national level.
According to the latest report from the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), 74% of the population in Panama has complied with the complete immunization schedule.
The EPI report also indicates that 5,567,463 anticovid
vaccines have been applied to date in Panama, of which 4,818,084 doses of
Pfizer and 749,379 of
AstraZeneca have been placed.
This week they will be applying second doses from the age of 12 in circuits 4-2, 4-4, 4-6, 6-1, 7-2, 8-8, 8-10, 10-1 and 10-2.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health (
Minsa) recalled that any person who is already vaccinated must continue to use a mask and face shield, alcoholic gel, hand washing and maintain physical distance.
